Yes it’s that time of the year again – International Women’s Day. This year, there’s a women’s march (“The women’s Tahrir march” as it is called) from the corner of Herzl and Rothschild to Gan Hahashmal. I doubt it’ll be as big or as violent as Tahrir square, but I’m sure it’ll be very packed and most fun. Meet at 16:00 on the blvd. Then leave at 16:30 for the march. At 17:15 there’ll be a feminist gathering at the end of the march (read: speeches in Hebrew). Come march with us for women’s rights, an end to violence against women and all those usual sort of things. Should be awesome.
