DIY Tel Aviv Guide – get it and pay as much as you like

While I begin work on the second edition of the DIY Tel Aviv Guide, I am trying this as an experiment to decide how to price the guide in the future. From now on, you can download the guide freely on a Dana (giving) basis. This means I give the guide to you and you decide how much (if at all) you want to pay for it according to how much you can afford and how much you think it’s worth. You can pay before or after downlading the guide and pay whatever amount you want.

I am doing this because this is the first edition of the guide and I would like it to be read by as many people as possible, including those who might be worried about spending money for something they haven’t seen on a site they don’t know.

I am hoping you will like the guide enough to support it, because it took me nearly 6 months to write the guide and updating the guide and the blog requires regular work. As much as I enjoy people reading my stuff, it’s also nice to make money from the work that I do. I prefer this money to come from people who read my guide and found it useful, rather than advertising.

As a guideline amount for a donation, I suggest £5, as that is around 30NIS which is the price of an average mixed drink in a Tel Aviv bar. Obviously, that’s just a suggestion, so you don’t have to stick with that.
