Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Tel Aviv. As usual, it’s a lot!<\/p>\n

If you want to start your weekend extra early, you can also head down to the Shesek Bar<\/strong> from around 22:00, where Poingi <\/strong> will be playing disco, acid and everything in between. Free.<\/p>\n

Frenkel 13<\/strong> is launching a new midweek night, Fresh<\/strong> run by Soda Fabric<\/strong>‘s Gil Abroamov. Yaniv Detroit will play everything from rock to acid techno and there’s also a live band – Charmer<\/strong>, which the organisers swear is the most promising Israeli alternative trio since Plastic Venus and Hamachshefot. I’ve not seen them so I can’t confirm or deny, but it’s free. From 21:30.<\/p>\n

Thursday 9\/5<\/strong><\/p>\n

Psychedelic trance, psychedelic art, performance, you name it. The Comfort 13<\/strong> has a massive night on from 21:00. It’s worth turning up early to see works by a bunch of local artists including Yasmin Bergner, Oum Kultov, MissMusa and many many more. Also, circus performance by Circoland. DJ forest will be playing in the background. From 23:00 the party will really kick off and at 1:00 there’s a live show by Akot<\/a>. Also on the bill:

1984<\/strong> @ the Deli<\/strong> from 22:00. Your favourite dark 80s night, this time with a Legendary Pink Dots special, as this most awesome band is coming to perform in Israel next month. You’ll be able to buy CDs, merch and tickets for the gig at the party, as well as win some CDs. Free entry for the first half hour, then 20NIS on the door, including a free chaser of booze.<\/p>\n

\nCheesecake<\/strong> at the Breakfast Club \/ Milk<\/strong>. Multisexual, packed and with great music (tech house, sort of). This time it’s Yogo, the Romano Sisters and Yuval Goren. Starts at 23:00 at the Milk bar, the Breakfast room opens at midnight. Not sure how much it costs, but get there early if you want to get in for free or for less. It usually ends up being up to 50NIS later.<\/p>\n

Nostalgic Russian Party<\/strong>, yes, you heard it. Russian trash from 80s-90s-00s. Yes, there will be some slow dancing. Cheap booze, free entry. Ravnitski 7.
