Have you got some spare time over Sukkot and want to do something meaningful? Come and help at the African Refugee Development Center!<\/p>\n
ARDC needs as many volunteers as possible for a few days over Sukkot. All you need is to be able to use a computer! They are holding registration days for African refugees to register for the Green Card Lottery. This will be a great opportunity to get involved with the work of the organisation and spend time with the African community!<\/p>\n
The lottery gives permanent resident visas to natives of countries deemed to have low rates of immigration to the United States. ARDC registered around 400 people last year, 10 of them won the chance to go to the USA with their family.<\/p>\n
-Volunteers are needed to work shifts (as many as preferred!) of 12:00-16:00 16:00-20:00.
\n-Volunteers will need to bring a laptop
\n-There will be a training session on the 3rd Oct at 13:00 for 1.5 hours
\n-The registration will be held in New Central Bus Station
\n-One person needed who has a camera and a laptop and knows how take pictures crop and re-size them<\/p>\n
