Is it the weekend already? How did that happen? Damn holidays! Oh wait, we like weekends. We especially like this weekend, because it’s looking pretty damn good as far as parties are concerned. Just keep a bit of energy for some activism on Saturday night, cause we’re all going to shout underneath Ehud Barak’s window in support of African refugees and then we’re gonna protest against the prematurely ejaculated clock turning that’s happening on Sat night (I’ll be writing about that soon enough). For now, though, let’s get this party started!<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you like psy-trance, then you’ll be glad to know that GMS<\/strong> will be playing a retro set (you know, the good psy-trance) at the Comfort 13 from 23:00 – 7:00. Well, GMS will be headlining. There’ll be lots of local support too – Darwish, Nativ, Soma and Electro Vision. Tickets are 70NIS on the door or 50NIS if you text your full name in advance to one of the phone numbers listed on their event page<\/a>. They’ll be giving away free shots of posh vodka between 23:30 – 24:30 so get there early if you want to get tanked.<\/p>\n

\nLegotek<\/strong> album release party at the Bootleg club, which used to be the Maxim club, next door to the Third Ear (Haozen Hashlishit) music store, on King George Street. Listen to the music here<\/a>. If you’re among the first 10 people to enter the club (doors at 23:30), you’ll get their very own Legotek album for free. Otherwise, you can buy it. Tickets are 50NIS on the door, or you can email your full name to: events@legotek-records.com and get in for 30NIS.<\/p>\n

\nDNA<\/a> (<- link) play the Michatronix from 21:00 (or 22:00, depending on who you ask). Electronica with violin! Beats and things going on afterwards till 7:00. Free.\n\n***\n\nFriday <\/strong><\/p>\n

Who Made Who<\/a><\/strong> at the Block club. It’s going to be a huge night, no doubt. Tickets going for 80NIS in advance from here<\/a> or 100NIS on the door.<\/p>\n

\nTin Man (Vienna)<\/strong> at the Deli as part of the triumphant return of the Yod<\/strong> line of tech house parties. Tickets on the door 30-40NIS and include a free shot at the bar. 23:00 till late.<\/p>\n

\nAnna Loulou bar<\/strong> is having a nostalgic night of old school rave, industrial, acid and techno. Free entry. 21:00 till late.<\/p>\n

\nMichatronix is having the Red Axes<\/strong> again. Groovy electronic beats for people who like more bloopy and bleepy bits than speed in their electronica. 22:00 – 7:00. Free.<\/p>\n
