\"art\" Street art fans, for you, tomorrow is the day! Two events you should be going to if you’re in Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n

First of all, French street artist JR is bringing his world famous Inside Out project<\/a> to Tel Aviv – Jaffa. The project involves people’s portraits being blown up as giant posters and pasted up on the street. When the project hits Israel on September 3rd, there’ll be photo booths all over the country, inviting Israelis and Palestinians to have their photos taken. You can learn more from the Facebook event page<\/a>. <\/p>\n

But now you can be part of the pre event publicity and your portrait can be one of those printed by JR and brought with him to Israel to be pasted on the walls of Tel Aviv, before the booths are even up. Plus you’ll get your own copy which you can use whichever you like (including as a sign for the upcoming social justice demo on Sept 3rd). Want in on it? Of course you do. It’s free, but the catch is you have to get up early in the morning.
\nHead down to Jaffa’s clock tower square on Thursday morning between 7:30-8:30 (AM. That’s right) where the photography team will be waiting for you under the clock. You’ll need to give your details so the portraits can be sent to you, but apart from that you don’t need to do anything apart from turn up.<\/p>\n

But as if that wasn’t enough, Thursday night sees the opening of Inside Job: Street Art in Tel Aviv at the Helena Rubnistein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, at 6 Tarsat St. <\/p>\n

Some of Israel’s best street artists have taken over one of the country’s most important contemporary art spaces. See works by:<\/p>\n
