Jaffa’s Margoza bar, deep in the flea market, will be having one of its legendary street parties. Jaffa is traditionally one of those places avoided by the hoards of non-Tel Aviv folk who flock to the city every holiday. Ironically, Tel Aviv’s hip crowds often end up here giving it a more Tel Aviv vibe than anything that happens in Tel Aviv proper. This may be slowly changing, as the parties here are getting a reputation, but the music policly usually keeps away the worst of the riffraff.
So this NYE from 20:00 till very very late you can have everything from groove to alternative indie to hip hop, bass, dubstep and even surf rock from some wicked DJs, plus Boom Pam playing live at 22:00. Oh yeah and it’s all 100% free of charge.
